Vodafone – Unnecessary roaming charges

Hi, I always face issues with Vodafone bills since I am using there postpaid connection. Last year in 2014, before going to my home I added Vodafone roaming pack to avoid roaming charges. After coming back I saw the bill it was having unnecessary amounts added, even after roaming pack. I called customer care, they said I have to visit Vodafone Store. I went there and they were explaining something and told come again we are looking into issue. After some days I called customer care for status, they said again visit Vodafone Store. It was very difficult for me always to run to these stores during working days. Finally after long runs, calls, visit to Store and other mind bursting tasks they agreed. It was irritating and painful journey. But as usual we forget and get busy in our life. But now they forced me to log the complaint to this forum. This year 2015 they are again doing the same thing by sending wrong bills again and again. The problem is much more humiliating and I am feeling helpless. In January before travelling to UK from India I visited Vodafone store and explained them that I am travelling to UK for 6 months and I am not looking for monthly bills. They asked for amount 300 INR for safe custody and I paid the same. On February 7th (Not sure about exact date) I made payment for my January bill 600 INR but unfortunately I came to know my transaction got failed. On March 21st I received a bill of amount 843.44 INR and it was a first surprised for me as I already paid for safe custody and I must not have received this bill with February Rent. I called customer care and as always it was going to head office Mumbai and every time it was passing to Delhi center without listening properly. Finally I reached my friend Rajesh and told him to visit Vodafone Store. He visited there and we came to know my transaction was failed and safe custody was not activated on Jan. I told my friend to pay amount they are asking and close this. He paid 700 INR on behalf on me. Now it is April and on 23rd April I received one more bill of 563 INR for March Rent. I was in shock and they have irritated me this time the most. I was feeling I am a fool and talking to fools those don’t understand customer situation and they are sitting there to trouble. I contacted customer cares and nothing happened. I call my friend again and fortunately he again visited Vodafone store. I was surprised to hear from them that my pack of Safe custody is not activated. It was really a pathetic situation from me on call. The person told to drop an email and I did that also but I haven’t received any response. Today I decided to knock the doors of consumer forum. Please help

I want to have a confirmation that when I will be back to India, my number should not be disabled or deactivated. I want them to stop sending these unnecessary bills and apology. They must provide compensation for all torment, misery and suffering I went through. I invested my mental peace and valuable time.
