Beetel – Error in display, Review

Sir I bought a cordless phone from Patteril Electronics on 11/8/2014 paying Rs 2150/-.Before making purchase decision I asked them about its functioning.When I came home, I charged phone for stipulated time and next morning, I connected phone with landline connection, but it displayed “searching”.On the same day, I took it to the shop and I explained problem, but it was ok when they connected adapter and phone line connection to the base.When I tried it later at my home, I came to know that the phone works only if there is continuous power supply to its base. I was neither informed about this condition by the shopkeeper nor its packet displayed it, so I made a complaint,and I asked to replace the same with a corded phone of the same company because I cannot make calls and receive calls when there is power cut.But shop keeper denied my demand and made statements like “not being informed” about this condition is the fault of customer.But he was ready to exchange it with an expensive phone. As I couldn’t agree with it, I contacted their dealer ,Binoy, and sought his help. He told me shopkeeper can do something like exchanging the phone with corded one. I am undergoing mental agony and stress as I feel the action of the shopkeeper is unjust to me. So I need you valuable support and help to resolve this issue.

I need my money back with adequate compensation for the mental agony I am facing.
