Ricoh Printers – Delayed Customer Service

Printer was not working properly since many days. I contacted Ricoh Customer Care on 29.07.2016 on their toll free no. I was asked to tell them serial no. Of my productive, which was provided. At the outset their refused to handle my complain on the ground that it’s out of warranty, but only after repeated request, they accepted that my product is in warranty as I bought it in December. They assured me that person will reach on site by 30.07.2016. I again reminded them on 1st august with attached invoice. They told me person would come on 1st evening. I am contacting their service engineer,representatives from mysore office. All in vein..I waited till 3rd. again reminded. I called up smita today and she shouted at me and told me that we can’t provide you service, don’t dare to call us again. Do whatever you want to do. I am being deprived my fundamental right to service of a consumer. I am suffering lot of problems.kindly help through legal action against the person and company both.

Proper and timely services, and tough lesson to that person and brand Ricoh, which could set an example for others so that they don’t abridge the rights of innocent customers. Advance written assurance for remaining period of guarantee and even after that.
