On 15July i tried booking flight tickets via Spicejet mobile app and multiple times the transaction got failed.i received no intimation from Spicejet saying the booking has been confirmed as all the times i received a message saying ‘transaction failed’. 2 times the amount has been deducted from my credit card acount and one of these have been refunded. the remaining transaction has not been refunded and on 26july i called spicejet call center where i was informed the transaction was succesfull and ticket has been confirmed. I was very surprised as i had no email or ticket mailed to me saying the ticket booking was succesfull. infact for 11 days i knew that the booking had failed due to payment problems. i had mailed spicejet customer relations on 18July and in 8 days they have not mailed back which is why i had to call the call center.

Now i came to know one ticket has been confirmed and i was very surprised since no email was sent to me. when i informed the call center staff that i had no mail, he mailed me an itinerary immediately. but since i have already booked another ticket in these 11 days i asked them to cancel the booking and asked them to process the return since i knew from my end that the transactions have failed both times. but they are telling me full refund is not possible now since the booking is confirmed and i will have to pay the cancellation charges for the booking. but i had no way of knowing that one booking was succesful so i donot understand why i have to pay the cancellation charge. Its a good way of swindling people of their hard earned money. further 2 more transactions from my debit card that also failed but have been put on hold. and there is no way of knowing whether i am again going to be charged for some more failed transactions saying they have been confirmed from Spicejet although i have not been contacted or mailed the confirmed tickets. i will never ever travel by spicejet again.
