Vodafone Service Disconnected without Warning

My number 98200XX600 is a Vodafone number was activated in Feb 1998 and has been continuously in service for last more then 17 years and today suddenly it goes dead… NO SERVICE

After calling the call centre to investigate what could be the possible reason for this disconnection, i had to first patiently wait for almost 10 mins and then i get connected to a human voice who was not less then a pre-programmed robot with limited information as always. He then informs me that there is another number which is on my name and there is a bill outstanding on the same. I informed the agent that the number he is reffering to is a data-stick with 3G unlimited dataplan and i had put in a deactivation request for the same 3 months back as the location where i want to use the datastick i do not get network and i had to opt out for a alternate option. The deactivation did not happen from thier end and if Vodafone proves that in last 2 months the datastock was even uses once i will take the laibility on ne to pay the same. But as it is he was pre programmed human with limited capabilities and hence he did not react to look at the number deactivated.

I also have atleast 7 other Vodafone numbers and all premium numbers… 2 of these nunbers have been with me for almost 2 decades and i must have surely got a clean record and hence i have retained the numbers for ao long. I rush to the centre at Ambani Hospital to have this sorted but the manequins who are sitting there to decor the chairs just refused to help saying i will have to come next day morning for assistance and clarification.

I am now stranded with my number being disconnected and the question that i have in my mind is whose fault is it ? Why should i be penalised foe Operators Whims & Fancies ? Where does a consumer go when the people who are supposed to provide service are acting funny and throwing tantrums ? Is this the apt way to just get up and disconnect the line without informing the customer…

My question to the operator, i m stranded with no connection even after using your service for 17 years on this number… What an example of service this is… As a customer i m dejected and this is quiet unproffessional…. i m unable to recieve my calls right now and it is such a learning ‘when u dealing with jokers always expect the unexpected’ as they definately dont value anything…

The line that stayed active for 17 years non stop has gone deactive and Y…. Can someone help me find the answer ?
