Vodafone Setting High Credit Limit Without Consent

Previous month I received a bill of 2852.00 which is close to 6 times what I normally receive every month. As far as I am concerned, I have’t used the data plan so much but still given that this number is used in iPAD which has both 3G / Wifi connection sometimes its difficult to notice the switch between 3G & Wifi network. My question to VOdafone has been that if my limit was exceeding my average monthly plan which is 450 – which was I not informed. Also, how can Vodafone set the credit limit so high – that too without taking my consent. IPAD as a device is used by my wife / kid & myself and ideally they should alert me if the usage is getting too high. They haven’t answered to me for all the above.

Ideally the excess amount above my monthly bill plan should be reversed and my monthly limit set to INR 500 per month.
