YU YUREKA PLUS – Defective Mobile – No Customer Care Repair

I purchased the phone online from Amazon.in, which is YU YUREKA PLUS on ANDROID (Moondust Grey), on 18-10-2015 for Rupees 8999. It was right from the very second day of buying the phone, that I have been facing problem with it. The problem was- the apps on the phone opened automatically and when the phone was kept on charging, the battery of the phone used to get heated up unusually. Even when the headphone was plugged into the device, it was never detected and the sound system did not respond. It was only after restarting the phone that the headphone produced sound. Regarding this I called up the Customer Service center and they asked me to format the phone. I did as I was directed, but nothing happened except losing my data. The problem went on even after formatting. I bought the phone during my stay at home in Najafgarh, Delhi. But I had to return back to Assam due to my job reasons and therefore I could not physically visit the Customer Service center. The phone used to hang a lot. Then I went to Micromax Care in Tezpur on 07/04/2016 with my phone and explained my problem. But I didn’t get any satisfactory answer from them. After I explained my problem, they in fact ignored the fact by saying that the issue regarding the battery is common and regarding the headphone problem, they in fact replaced my headphone (the Bill of the same has been attached herein). But the same problem persisted even with the new headphone. Even though my phone was in a working state, after a few days the display went off and nothing was visible in the phone. When I went back to Delhi, I visited the Micromax Service center (the papers are attached herein). They said that the display of the phone has been cracked and was asked to pay for the repairing charges because; even though it was in its Warranty period, since it was a physical damage, therefore I had to pay. I explained all the problem regarding the phone and they responded with an assurance to repair my phone and bring it to a perfect workable condition. I submitted my phone and asked them regarding the data of my phone. on this note they replied that once the phone was repaired, they would update the software and they would need the phone again. I paid an amount of Rs. 3250 for the repairing charges. The phone was then submitted to them for software upgradation, the very next day. After a few days again, the same problems started with the phone. I still kept using the phone in this condition. When I came back to my workplace, on a particular day, my phone got switched off and I could not on my phone till date. I again visited the Micromax Care in Tezpur on 23-07-2016 and they denied to accept my phone as they said that the seal was broken. When I said that the phone was repaired by the Micromax Care in Delhi, they still denied to accept it as it was the fault of the customer service center in Delhi, that they did not re-fix the seal.

Regarding the problems in my phone I was disturbed to a high extent, as the purpose for which I bought the phone, was not being fulfilled. I was unable to use my phone but it actually turned out to be a trash. The amount of Rs.8999 actually went in vain. The trust that the company provided turned out to be only empty rhetoric without any proper customer service. I had been a worst sufferer because of this silly phone and the weird brand I trusted on. I kept on losing my data continuously because of regular formatting, directed by the Customer Care people. Rather than getting my problems solved, I actually had to undergo another pressure of paying an extra amount of Rs.3250, which was truly annoying. This ultimately led to a loss of an amount of Rs.12,249. On the top of that the phone actually gave my unwanted stress every time I tried using it as per my needs.

I truly seek relief from this disgusting every day problem. The possible relief is that I want a new phone which will not bother me like the previous one and I need my data in a safe condition from the phone or let my money be refunded (i.e. the MRP of the phone- Rs.8999). Let the company stop befooling people and rather sell phones with a genuine note of quality service. Whatever let the matter be, but in any cost, I want my money to be refunded
