HDFC Bank ATM – No money dispensed amount debited account

I have a Savings account with STANDARD CHARTERED bank for the last many years with the account number 53210418138 in the above mentioned Branch. On 4th May 2015, I used my ATM card no. 4987 5900 0012 1425 at HDFC Bank ATM located at GANESH NAGAR CHOWK, OPP MOTHER DAIRY]to withdraw a sum of Rs 10000/-but due to some error no money was dispensed from the machine. However, I was shocked to find that an amount of Rs 10000/-have been debited from my account. Immediately I filed a complaint(no. KMM20018983V21832L0KM) with the bank officialsbut I was just given false assurances on one pretext to another and till date neither I had received my money nor received any kind of positive response from your company, which is very disappointing. However, the problem remains I again filed a complaint and after repeated follow-ups, I received a letter from your bank informing me that the transaction was valid and your company executive refused to refund the money. Dissatisfied with THE bank services, I again filed a complaint with the company’s officials and asked them to provide the CCTV footage on which I was asked to wait for 10 days but in spite of repeated follow ups, I have received no CCTV footage from the company’s side, which is disappointing. I have wasted unreasonable amount of time and money in trying to resolve this issue but to no avail. The most frustrating and agonizing part is that after repeatedly requesting and discussing the problem with the company’s advisor, I was just given false assurances but no one was ready to solve my problem. The entire episode has left me in a bitter taste. I am really disappointed and annoyed that a Banking Service provider which is as renowned as Standard chartered Bank could deliver such a poor services. The most frustrating and agonizing part is that after repeatedly requesting and discussing the problem with the company’s advisor, they are giving me the false facts

As a consequence of The bank deficient service and the incompetency displayed by their employees, I have suffered undue hardship and mental frustration. I would like to emphasize that: • the Bank have been grossly negligent and unprofessional in their approach. • I have undergone extreme stress and mental agony because of their deficient service. Given the above sequence of events, I request you to kindly look into the matter and instruct the bank employees/agents to refund the amount of Rs.10000/- at the earliest. Additionally, I request you to compensate me with an amount of Rs 50, 000/- for the extreme stress and mental agony bank have caused to me due to their negligent conduct and the cost incurred by me in trying to mend this problem
